AURUM COMMERCE TERMS OF SALE

These terms apply when you buy an Aurum Commerce licence from Leigh H. Parker, operating as Aurum Commerce, Timmins, Ontario ("we"). By completing checkout you agree to these terms and to the Aurum Commerce licence terms shown in the installer.

1. WHAT YOU'RE BUYING

A licence lets you use Aurum Commerce on one register (one Windows computer) in your business. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The software keeps working after the included update period ends.

2. PRICES

First register: $599.99 CAD.
Launch offer: the first 25 stores pay $349.99 CAD for their first register. The offer ends once 25 launch licences are sold. Limit one launch licence per business.
Each extra register: $199 CAD.

Prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include applicable sales taxes (HST, GST or PST), which are added at checkout based on your location. We may change prices for future purchases, but that never affects a licence you have already bought.

3. UPDATES AND SUPPORT

Each licence includes software updates and email support at support@aurumcommerce.ca for 2 years from purchase. After that, you can keep using the version you have, or buy an optional renewal for further updates and support.

4. DELIVERY

Your licence key and download link are emailed to the address you give at checkout, usually within minutes. If you don't receive it within 24 hours, contact support@aurumcommerce.ca.

5. TRY BEFORE YOU BUY, AND REFUNDS

The free 30-day trial lets you test the software fully before buying, so please use it. If you are not satisfied, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Refunds are paid back to your original payment method, and the licence key is deactivated. After 30 days, sales are final unless the law requires otherwise.

6. MOVING TO A NEW COMPUTER

If you replace a register's computer, you can move its licence to the new one. Contact support if you need the key reset. A licence may not be split, shared between registers at the same time, or resold without our written OK.

7. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You are responsible for keeping backups of your data, checking totals, taxes, receipts and reports, and meeting your own tax and record-keeping obligations.

8. WARRANTY AND LIABILITY

We will make reasonable efforts to fix reported bugs. Except as stated in these terms, the software is provided "as is", and, as far as the law allows, all other warranties and conditions are excluded. We are not liable for lost sales, profits or data, business interruption, or indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence involved.

9. PRIVACY

We handle your information as described in our privacy policy at https://aurumcommerce.ca/privacy.

10. LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
